Libraries are wonderful assets for the entire community, including Spanish-speakers.  If, however, no one on the library staff can communicate with Spanish-speaking persons, all the wonderful services that the library can offer are lost to them.  In order for librarians to meet the needs of Spanish-speakers at their library, they need to take our online program, Spanish for Library Personnel.  After completing our program, you will be able to use Spanish in order to communicate all the services available at the library, as well as explain library procedures. 

Approximate Time for Course Completion:  32 hours (course remains active for 120 days)

Command Spanish®, Inc. has awarded 3.2 CEUs to all participants who successfully complete thisprogram. Command Spanish®, Inc. has been reviewed and approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

In recent years there has been an amazing increase in inrollment of Spanish-speaking students in our public and private schools.  Teachers who have routine or periodic interactions with Spanish-speaking children will be helped greatly by Spanish for School Teachers.  Topics include:  courtesy phrases, communication strategies, numbers, the Spanish alphabet, classroom management phrases, general instructional management phrases, and much more.
