LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, realtors will be able to utilize Spanish in order to do the following:
Greet and receive customers
Employ basic social and courtesy phrases
Use communication strategies to negotiate a mutual level of understanding
Express and recognize numbers 0-500,000
Interview customers and ascertain housing needs and preferences
Discuss financial issues such as loans, mortgages, and credit checks
Conduct a follow-up interview after pre-qualification
Provide property descriptions
Conduct property visits
Engage in sales talk
Facilitate offers and convey a seller’s response
You will also gain a basic understanding of various differences between U.S. and Latino cultures that are important to know in order to avoid possible misunderstandings.
