LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to do utilize Spanish in order to do the following:
Greet patients;
Employ basic courtesy phrases;
Conduct routine dental exams;
Explain routine dental procedures;
Give directions to patients during procedures;
Explain anesthesia;
Instruct patients concerning medications;
Provide follow up instructions.
You will also gain a basic understanding of various differences between U.S and Latino cultures that are important to know in order avoid possible misunderstandings.
