LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to do utilize Spanish in order to do the following:
Greet patients;
Employ basic courtesy phrases;
Identify patients and yourself;
Ask diagnostic questions;
Explain procedures for dental cleaning;
Give directions to patients during dental cleaning;
Conduct dental X-rays;
Provide basic patient education and instructions upon dismissal.
You will also gain a basic understanding of various differences between U.S and Latino cultures that are important to know in order avoid possible misunderstandings.
