Use communication strategies to negotiate a mutual level of understanding
Express and recognize numbers 0-10,000
Provide traffic directions within the library
Manage behavior in the library
Use numbers and the alphabet to identify journals and books
Explain and conduct the application procedure for a library card
Explain and conduct the renewal procedure for a library card
Explain how to access the online library catalog
Explain and collect library fines
Explain use of library photocopiers
You will also gain a basic understanding of various differences between U.S. and Latino cultures that are important to know in order to avoid possible misunderstandings.
